Note: This mod is not Democrat friendly, you WILL need both hands, meaning somebody can’t hold your hand and walk you through it! There are a few issues with the Turtle Beach Easrforce X31 –
First it is not official Microsoft gear, so it does not sinc with the console’s wireless interface, it requires a wireless trasmitter hooked up via usb and batteries for the head piece.Second, it plays the game and voice sound in your ear, muting the tv. This takes alot of the fun out of group gaming. Finally, the thing is $75! But it is very nice. It would be great if Microsoft would allow TB to make a real one.

Hey there – this is AKA Republican – xbox gamer tag Republican 36O – thanks for your interest in this headset – sorry you cannot charge it while in use – it uses that same wireless headset cord that comes with the wireless headset – hope you find a headset or mod one thats satisfactory for you -

Nice mod
A regular corded headset – is just that – CORDED! And the wireless headset, as stated before, dangle’s from your ear, along with a very uncomfortable ear bud. With this set up you have your wireless headset, with the support and comfort of a regular headset. Pay attention people, this is fully wireless!

This is AKARepublican! (Using wifes account, mine was closed after gmail was hacked!) This is wonderful news! Would love to see pictures, and to know how it worked out for you! On a side note, I have since changed my ear piece from two cushion ones, to a single plush vinyl ear piece I took from a free set of earphones that come attached to a t-shirt from Wal-Mart for $10.00! Works great, hope you enjoy yours, and I am happy to hear that is was successful for you!

That is the original charger that comes with the Microsoft Wireless Headset. A standard XBox 360 wired headset was gutted, and then the wireless was set in the ear section of the wired and molded together using mighty putty. The putty was then sanded, and then a few cosmetic attachments was added for support and looks. There you have a new wireless headset mod.
