@cynicaldemon lol whats not fun about driving with a invisible steering wheel?? lol. I think most games will just implement some of natal’s features like tracking and voice recognition. Maybe in RPGs will use voice recognition to put urself into the game. Maybe even FPS could use Natal. FPSs could only track your head so if you move ur head side to side you could peer around corners. But i see games that use ALL the features will be more arcade like games
@JoseBaiona i read an article that said microsoft is coming out with a new 360 with way better hardware (about time). So maybe that will help out the processing power. I think it will come out this year but im not so sure.. it was just something i read about an interview
@cynicaldemon good thing people that come up with new ideas probably dont listen to you because new ideas like this is what got us here today and will carry us into the future.
which is why I think this project is complete bullshit and won’t work.
Sure, they might be able to do recognition eventually (motion-capture). But who wants to sit on their soffa with their arms in the air pretending they have a steering wheel?
I just don’t believe Project Natal will bring us anything interesting.
Sure it isn’t just Witchcraft? That’s really creepy…but some Japanese people are so going to use this to make a virtual girlfriend xD
I could tell from Claire’s acting that it was pre-scripted…she seemed too artificial…which is kinda ironic as Milo didn’t. But even if it was scripted and can only understand certain phrases or gestures, it certainly is impressive.
It’s probably time to get out of that rock your under. With microsofts billion dollar budget they are able to afford highly advanced AI, which has been studied for years and has evolved in ways you don’t know. It can understand and organize each word to produce an almost lifelike response. The technology that is being put into this is very well done.
meh. Im sure it is preprogrammed/prescripted. And if you tried it yourself, you would see its limitations very quickly. Just remember the hologram from IRobot, Will had to ask specific questions, otherwise the program didnt understand.
oh well, now that renders everything I said irrelevant now doesn’t it? Look at the LCD display. It’s at the same fps as the camera. Not possible. LCD are HD interlaced image, the camera records progressive. At 24-30fps, the display should have the flicker effect. Also, claire’s expressions are off. I don’t care about this shit enough to be a hater, but you apparently do. I won’t call you a retard, cuz to each is own.
But I will ask you to shut the fuck up and not bother me anymore…
The modern graphics and computer capabilities of today have put the online casino on par with the land based casinos. In fact, considering the how readily available Internet access is, and various other inherent advantages, one might consider the online casino to be more fun than its land based counterpart.

@JoseBaiona they just did it with an xbox 360…. so obviously it does
this will never happen lol, the Xbox 360 doesn’t have enough processing power for something like this, maybe the Xbox 720 will have, but not atm.
