Rank 1 Grand Theft Auto IV:
Grand Theft Auto IV is an upcoming sandbox-style action adventure video game. It will be the ninth title (and the first in the fourth generation) in the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise. It will be released worldwide on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will be set in a redesigned Liberty City, based heavily on New York City and New Jersey.
Niko Bellic is Eastern European, between 28 and 32 years of age and has come to Liberty City to pursue the “American Dream”. Niko was persuaded to move to Liberty City by his cousin Roman, who claimed in multiple e-mails to Niko that he was living a fabulous life, with a mansion, women, hot tubs and sports cars. Roman’s claims turn out to be lies to hide his own failures, however, and in reality he only owns a small taxi business, which he wants Niko to work for.
Roman is the only person Niko knows in Liberty City to begin with, and is one of his major connections in the first part of the game. Niko is a tough character, whereas Roman is friendly. Roman is heavily in debt and a lot of people are after him. He desperately needs Niko’s support, hence the reason he deceived Niko into travelling to Liberty City. They are constantly bickering. It is later revealed that Niko has also been avoiding other, as yet undisclosed, problems at home. Both characters are new and there are virtually no returning players.

Rank 5 Mortal Kombat:
Mortal Kombat (commonly abbreviated as MK) is a popular series of fighting games made originally by Midway Manufacturing Company. Mortal Kombat began as a series of arcade games, which were picked up by Acclaim Entertainment for the home console versions. Now Midway exclusively creates home versions of Mortal Kombat. It is especially noted for its high levels of blood and gore, including, most notably, its graphic fatalities – Finishing Moves, requiring a sequence of buttons to perform. These were so extreme that they, in part, led to the founding of the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) 1 Mortal Kombat is available in PS2, Xbox, Mobile and PC.
The original Mortal Kombat was developed as a reaction to the popular fighting game Street Fighter II, with digitized graphics of real game actors as opposed to animated cartoon graphics. Critics said the game’s graphic violence was only included in order to generate a public outcry and controversy that would gain publicity for the game. Although highly controversial, the mix of realism and violence propelled Mortal Kombat to widespread and historic renown.

This has been coming up on Yahoo answers frequently lately and the answer is the same:
IT IS A SCAM
YOU WILL LOSE MONEY
IT IS ILLEGAL
IT VIOLATES PAYPAL RULES
Do NOT do it.
That was very well said but in the USA, people don't believe that much of what they read is propaganda. They have been told that countries like Iran are the only ones with propaganda from the government. Americans don't understand much about any other countries at all. I don't know why it is this way and am very sorry the US is acting like this. Like Iran, our government does what it wants and we only follow. People here are scared of everyone these days and mostly don't believe there are other good countries.
Thank you for trying to help people understand.
Thank you for laying it all out for your foreign friends!! I think Iran's pretty cool… This country got some beef with it due to the whole ayatollah thing and the hostages and whatnot, but hey, we should really let by-gones be by-gones… I have great respect for your president, and enjoy his kind and insightful words which he posts on his official presidental blog. (http://www.ahmadinejad.ir/) I wish my president were as techno-savvy!! Does the good doctor, your President Ahmadinejad, also own an Ipod??
I think your country plays a pretty interesting role in today's current affairs. The U.S. administration has been using your country and people as scapegoats to blame for how horrible our invasion of Iraq has been going. Our administration, in the "land of the free" has resisted all accountability for misleading this country to war, and also for not having a realistic strategy for resolving this bloody conflict. As one of the major states in the region who still function and haven't been bombed to embers, Iran is really one of the few political entities in the region that can actually do anything to help the situation in Iraq. If the American people follow the threats and nasty dialogue our public officals spout about Iran, we will invade Iran next, and then that will leave essentially no stable states in the region. The Middle East has got some serious problems these days, and a powerful state like Iran is absolutely necessary to maintain some order in the region. Our countries need to put our differences aside and work together if your neighbor to the West is ever going to get back onto its feet, and American forces can leave the area.
We Americans get shook up about our news media reporting supposed "threats" and calls for the destruction of Israel. I don't know if many Americans remember that yes, after World War II, the English essentially did cut out a nice piece of Palestinian land to form the Hebrew state, reinforced with Western military technology and training. As for me, Israel kinda has it coming… They've been on borrowed land for too long, however I doubt anybody will be able to force them to move. However, that's a whole other issue.. I would first like to see our American troops leave Iraq, and for a respectful dialogue to exist between Tehran and Washington.
Again, thanks for taking the time to express and explain an informed Iranian citizen's point of view on the state of affairs today. I whole-heartedly agree that our respective leaders talk a lot of garbage about each other simply to rile their citizens against each other, to perpetuate enemy roles, and to distract the masses from what is really going on. The war in Iraq needs to stop. Acheiving peace is paramount compared to bitter rivalries with a nation who could certainly be a powerful ally in our so-called 'war on terror'.
bin laden bombs the u.s.
bin laden was a saudi.
the u.s. bombs iraq.
the saudi's are still our buddies. we continue to fill our monsterous SUVs with saudi oil @ $3.69/gal.
iraq is still a mess.
we begin smack talk against iran
…no end in sight.
none of it makes any sense to me, man…… Let's hope these recent diplomatic talks bear some fruit for today's generation and generations to come…
best wishes and peace to you!
good luck!
Hello! I read your whole post, every word. I looked at the pictures and some of the other links. I didn't listen to any music though. Here are some random comments I have:
Here in America, MANY of us know President Bush is a nutcase. Only 1/3 of the people approve of the job he is doing as President. I am so glad you don't judge Americans by him, and some of his noisy supporters. People are beginning to realize that the Bush government has lied to them about many important things.
It makes me happier than you can know to learn that the Iranian people don't hate Americans, any more than Americans (except for a small hateful minority) hate Iranians.
I believe that the big powers such as China, Russia and the US want to keep the Mid East in turmoil, because if countries like Iran and Iraq, Lebanon and Israel, Turkey and Afghanistan are putting their resources into fighting each other, they are less likely to compete with the big powers, who feel threatened by them. Some few rich people here are profiting from keeping oil prices high, and from stirring up dissent in the Middle East.
Thank you so much for taking the time to describe what life is like in Iran. I didn't know anything about it, and I wanted to know the real truth. The pictures that I looked at show your country to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I would give my heart to be able to visit there, and eat a meal with people like you and your family, and sit and drink tea and talk to you and your friends.
Please don't judge American news by Fox News!! They are not taken seriously here by many. If you like, look at MSNBC.com, or http://www.newsweek.com. They are my primary source for news.
I am wholeheartedly sorry for the deaths of your people by American military and political forces. I do not believe in war and killing, and I have never supported any fighting in the Middle East.
Like you, I dream of all nations at peace with each other.
you cant be serious, there is no way to know since they come and go, and give it up. That was years ago and its a moot point. Get on with life and forget it now.
Man, this is supposed to be twice the size of San Andreas. Imagine the mount of exploring and time it will take to see all of the map.
You’ll be finding new things months after you buy this game. Months I tells ya!

David as always i read every thing you tell us.may i make a suggestion? i know you are trying to reach out and let us know the truth of your country and i think this is fantastic, but to reach americans you may want to make your statements to us a little briefer.LOL we do not have great attention spans.keep going my dear .peace to you!
That was a nice thing to say. I agree with a lot of your thoughts.
As a Canadian, I think some of your ideas of Americans (as people) may be wrong. Most of them (and Canadians too) know that Iran is better than the media describes. The American media is notorious for sensationalism.
Also I fear that Americans (the government in this case) may want oil from your country. I hope this is not totally true, but certain events would seem to indicate this.
And Canadians would also be very pleased if peace could be made in that area of the world.
@tarmack: It means it is directed towards you and others reading will see that.
Hi David!
Long time no see!!! ;o) (that means, it's been a long time since I've seen one of your questions)
You always post such wonderful questions and comments. Iranians are wonderful people and it's nice to see some information about this view of Iran. Thank you.
