Stay Update for XBOX Buzz from XBOX Specialist

If you try to setup or all ready have an account and have a mod chip installed, you will get banned immediately from playing on the network. This ban stays for a lifetime, with no chances of getting lifted no matter what excuse you may have.
A lot of Xbox 360 gamers prefer to have backups of their favorite games because they are aware of the expensive prices on Xbox 360 games, and the no refund policy on broken discs. As long as they have a mod chip installed they will also be banned from the Xbox Live network, even if they had no intentions of breaking the law of piracy.
Luckily there is a way to get around this. There is a new gaming burning software available. That can overwrite all the protection on an original Xbox 360 game disc and create an exact 1:1 copy of the original Xbox 360 game disc.
This software also works for other platform like Ps3, Ps2, Xbox, Nintendo WII, Pc games and Game Cube. So there is lot of money to be saved here.
Here is how to burn Original Xbox 360 Games:
- You need to get the game burning software and a set of instructions following the software.
- Start the software and copy and original Xbox 360 to a specific folder on your computer, or the Iso file downloaded from the internet.
- Insert en empty DVD9 for Xbox 360 or a Blue Ray Disc in case it is a Ps3 games you are copying.
- Start the copying process by carefully following the instructions directed by the game burning software.
You can make as many backups as you want to. Remember to safe the original on a safe place in case you need to make new backups.

thanx for this tutorial, one question how do you get the linux os on the xbox(firefox etc)?
thanks
john
No. Don't be so cheap as to do so. If Microsoft find out, they'll ban you from Live.
Burning is not the problem Alcohol 120% can do it fine….playing them on the other hand requires a flash of the system of a mod chip because of the whole xbox specialized coding to verify that it is actually a xbox disc not a regular hd-disc.
rom just means data, literally it is data that can only be read… (so it’s not necessarily an old super nes game)
hey can you help me please. i’ve got a few emulators in a emulators folder in the xbox s e drive. but i can only open them if i go to the browse folders and go from there. how can i have it so that i can go to emulators in the ‘emulators’ folder in the dashboard??
i wouldnt do that if i were you, microsoft can track pirated games and ban your console from playing online. not a threat, just a heads up
XKEY360
ok well also can you tell me where I can get the emulater files just the games because i had the games on disk but well that was 4 years ago and let me say they are broke… one of them got a tv droped on it and the other got stepped on
Dude this is a great video, l notice that the tutorail vid is down; do you know of any other videos or websites that will show me how to do this? Also did you have to physically mod the system (ie get in there and change wires and stuff) or is this a software mod?
Thanks man!
It wont boot
You have to either have the drive chipped, or flash the DVD drive with custom firmware to make the game load.
Great tutorials for that can be found at se7ensins.com
Of course, you will run the risk of being banned
This type of modification is called xbox flashing. It involves over-writing the firmware (programmed files) on the DVD drive of the xbox and allow it to be able to recognize burnt copies. You must take your xbox apart so your warranty will be voided (unless you buy xbox 360 stickers), after that it all depends on what kind of DVD drive you have (4 different brands), after that it involves getting a bunch of programs together, overwriting the files, burning games, etc. In the end it can be quite confusing and you will soon discover you need a-lot of specific hardware just to make this work. Look on google for guides for xbox flashing, it is easier to find and read the info there then for me to explain it here. I'd just suggest getting someone to do it for you unless you have some electronics knowledge (costs around $40 CAN), check out kijiji, classifieds, etc and you can find a good price on it
Enjoy

you can get banned if you play burnt games on xbox live. but if you have the orginal disc to play on xbox live you will be right. if you have a burnt disc and you want to play on live do not update the game if its burnt they say around the 15th to the 20th of every month microsoft sends a scan to find people that play burnt games hope this helps just be careful
god I love that Sega CD sound….
my xbox is moded and it is really cool because i have to hold down the power button and then it goes into moded mode but i can still have it normal… and This dude made programing for me so I have a new dashboard and I can play nintendo 64 games and all the older systems even over 4000 arcade games thats right 4000 and 9000 games over all the systems and they are on 2 disks
You won't be using a mod chip for your 360 but you will have to flash your current dvd drive on it for it to recognize backup games (requires opening). The procedure can be time consuming but if you're up to it, check out xbox-scene.com
As for the actual backup process you will need specific Samsung drives that are flashed with kreon software to read xbox games, from there you can use softwares like xbox backup creator.
Final advice, seek a professional as this will void your warranty. As for playing on xbox live that would be at your own risk but the process does include a stealth patch to protect against xbox live detection. Just make sure you own the originals.
