Stay Update for XBOX Buzz from XBOX Specialist

First of all, i think that the ones that will always have a win-win situation here are the devs; because they can make money by accepting Microsoft “bribe” lets say and also by the DLC itself. This is the case of the really cool GTAiV’s expansion The lost and The damned. Furthermore Xbox 360 owners also have exclusive DLC for Fallout 3, another hit multiplatform game. Microsoft really made an effort to bring exclusive content for these critically acclaimed top games and that of course will show in the charts. After all, if you havc 2 identical versions of a game but one has the option to increase it’s gameplay value for a few more dollars; i think you, as well as i, would choose this last version.
Is Sony screwing itself over by refusing to pay for DLC? I think they obviously losing sales, but very little in that; because multiple console owners are not that common. And if we count the fact that Sony is still losing money on the PS3, i think they might have the right attitude on this. After all isn’t the developers the ones that should be concerned in getting their game to as much people as possible? I don’t want to sound all high and mighty, but does creativity and fan support all have a price? I know that when all is said and done, it’s always about money; but i would like to think otherwise.
On the other hand i really like that Microsoft is willing to spend money to bring users new content and i would like to think(i might be a little naive here), that thanks to them DLC is getting made; regardless that it’s being done for just one platform. Maybe Maguire is right and PS3 owners might get their DLC version as time passes by; but i wouldn’t be counting on it. So out of all the parties involved in this process, i think however misguided their offerts maybe, Microsoft is the only one thinking on us; the gamers.
But one question still remains, should we have to pay for DLC? The answer is yes … and no. Think of it from a consumers point of view, you get what you pay for; thus obviously paid DLC will tend to be better. On the other hand, think of it from the devs point of view. Free goodies, bring happiness to consumers; happy consumers are loyal consumers and provide free advertising. Thus your next big game might have a loyal fanbase BEFORE it’s released. In conclusion there isn’t really one single answer on this, both options not only can but MUST coexist.
Ok, enough of my ramblings on this; i am feeling quite spent right now. What about you? What do you think? Yey MC, boo Sony? DLC, paid or not? Let me and the rest of the gang hear your take on this!

everything is really good for this game except the fact that if you are controlling a player that is coming out of the corner and right into the side of the goal towards the center of the ice, the goalie for some reason thinks he can get a save by diving on the ice leaving it easly for the player to get a goal which pretty much ruins how realistic the save attempts by the goalie are
I hate how NHL 09 is just the same as NHL 08 except the checking and poke checking and whatever. Anyways it’s not really that better then NHL 08 though. Still knocks the fucking crap out of NHL 2K9.
Well without blu-ray the PS3 would not be where it is out today but from my experience you are going to see more of the PS3 power in the future soon. you put really good points of why you are stuck. I had a hard decision two because I wanted Halo 3 and Gears 2 but I also wanted everything the PS3 had to offer and I knew that the PS3 could do more(this was in 2007) so I got my PS3. Later lost of my friends got 360 because they where cheaper but when they found out it cost money to play!!! I was like you never knew that. I got the PS3 because it had more power it could use in the future and free online. The exclusives for the 360 are great but soon which is 2009 the exclusives of the PS3 will rein meteors on 360 exclusives. Microsoft already said that the 720 should be out in 2011 or 2012 so I think that if sony wants to keep there system on the market for a long time then we havent seen anything the PS3 can do even with Killzone 2. The xbox lives service is way better than playstation network but for $50 and still have to pay to buy games, DLC, movies, and those mii like things no way. my frineds play over at my house alot and they say the only flaw on the PS3 is very slow loding times. I wish I had a 360 but $50 online I think is insane if it where $20 maybe but not $50 bucks. I know you will miss out on great titles like gears and halo but there are still awsome exclusives for PS3 and most games are for both systems so that makes it another hard choice. There are way more PS3 exclusives than 360 and more great ones but they take sooo long to come out you wish they just hurry up like mocrosoft does and bring out a great game and soon. The features on xbox live are awsome way more stuff to do than on PSN but you dont really need that much stuff unless you are a online geek. PSN has HOME it is pretty overated but it is still good and free. Lots of things are free on the Playstation store but if you want to get into betas and get deom's that you would normally get by bying the game comes with this thing called Qore it cost money a monthly fee of 24 dollers but hey you get in betas like LBP, KZ2,metal gear and lots others. I would say get a PS3 but dont rush right now because sony said it should cost $300 buy this Christmas. So hopefully you can wait this long or just run out and buy one now.
They are coming out with the DLCs in march i do not know the exact date go on WWE.com they will have it one there.

KILL ZONE 2!!!!!!!!!!!!
That guy sounds like he’s reading the back of a medicine bottle or something.
I can't understand anything you are saying. Anyways I have always been a bigger fan of Microsoft.
The Xbox sells for $300 for A 60GB hard drive, 2 games, a controller, a headset, and a cord to connect to your internet. So in retrospect you probably only need to spend another $60 for a good game, $35 bucks for another controller, I live near a place that sells all of it's 3 month gold cards for $10 bucks. Also you may or may not need an adapter depending on where the location of your Xbox is so like $80.
So the final cost for an Xbox could be as little as $300 – $485.
For me I only had to spend $400 to get everything I wanted for the Xbox, and at the time I got it with a special to also get GTA4. At the time the PS3 was to expensive, and I think that is what hurt it. People could have saved money buying a Xbox box, which is what they did. At that point since you already have the Xbox you are not going to waste more money to buy a PS3, your just going to keep buying games, and DLC for Xbox. That is in less your loaded and can buy both systems and still have left over money to get DLC, games, etc.
Also I hate to say it but
Little Big Planet, Rathchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Sly 4 are all for little kids as well. So bringing up the fact that Halo is for little kids doesn't really help the cause for the PS3. Plus I'd take Gears, Fable, and Fallout over any of those games. The only game I was sad I couldn't own because it was exclusive to the PS3 was Metal Gear 4.
screw ps3.. 360 allday
I will definitely consider getting this game due to the great review. Good job guys!
