  • Battlefield 3 was my most anticipated first person shooter (FPS) game of the year. The previews looked stunning, but there was some fear that what was in the previews was the PC version, and would be watered down to play on the consoles. Thankfully console owners will not be disappointed. When you purchase Battlefield 3, you get two discs – one for the multiplayer version, and another for the single player.

The Xbox360 offers a ‘lite’ install and a full HD install in addition to the discs – it’s well recommended that you clear your hard disc on the edge of your seat? Click here to solve the mystery..

  • Batman: Arkham City

In light of the upcoming PC release date for Batman: Arkham City (confirmed by WB to be November 22 for the US and various other dates for the rest of the world) – it’s probably as good a time as any to remind the PC folks that yes – it is worth the wait if you don’t have a 360 or PS3.

Like any other self-respecting geek, I preordered the 360 version from Best Buy, which netted me the Robin skin for challenge mode only. Bit disappointing, that – I remember pre-ordering Metroid Prime: Echoes back in the Gamecube on the edge of your seat? Click here to solve the mystery..
